1. In the early VOCs enrichment process, due to the low ignition point of activated carbon and the high desorption temperature, when the saturated activated carbon is desorbed, the activated carbon will catch fire due to the high temperature in the desorption box. There are two ways to solve this problem: one is to use activated carbon with a high ignition point; the other is to strictly control the desorption temperature to make it far lower than the ignition point of activated carbon. Therefore, the following measures can be taken: strictly control the desorption temperature, select a good quality desorption temperature sensor, and install two temperature sensors in the appropriate position of the activated carbon adsorption box as much as possible; add a desorption program to stop when the desorption temperature exceeds the temperature in the PLC programming; at the same time, take precautions before it happens, add a fire water pipe (based on actual reports) above the activated carbon adsorption box and connect the smoke alarm and automatic sprinkler device to prevent accidental fire.

2. Explosion problems and preventive measures of catalytic oxidation furnaces When dealing with high-concentration VOCs, there is a large amount of oxygen in the furnace. When the exhaust gas concentration reaches the explosion limit of most organic (based on actual reports) exhaust gases in the exhaust gas composition, there will be a risk of explosion. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the VOCs concentration in the furnace at all times, and install a concentration dilution device on the exhaust gas pipeline entering the catalytic oxidation furnace to dilute the high-concentration exhaust gas to below the explosion limit. At the same time, a pressure exhaust valve is added to the catalytic oxidation furnace, and the valve is automatically opened to reduce pressure and exhaust when the pressure is too high to prevent the temperature and pressure in the furnace from being too high and causing an explosion (because the exhaust gas quickly releases a large amount of heat energy during the thermal oxidation process, resulting in excessive hot air pressure in the furnace).

3. Use fiber felt raw materials with good thermal insulation properties and light weight for thermal insulation. 1. The use of catalytic combustion method should be strictly in accordance with the project technical specifications, fire safety measures should be taken, project equipment should be placed outdoors as much as possible, and sufficient distance safety guardrails and relevant colors, airflow direction, valve switch position, power supply mark, operating specifications and other safety warning measures should be left according to the production safety standards.
